"I have never hired a dog trainer or gotten professional help with any of my previous four dogs, but when my most recent puppy was being very stubborn with potty training and biting even at 6 months old I felt overwhelmed. I got Beth's card from my groomer who said he heard many good things about her and doesn't hand out cards for just anyone. I bought a 10-hour package right up front thinking my puppy would be a difficult case and would need the extra attention. We did the first hour on a Saturday and I was nervous because he was not paying attention or doing anything that I recognized as "training," but Beth reassured me and said, "be patient, you've never asked him to communicate like this before." We did the second session the next day and no one believes me about how quickly the improvements came. In that second session my puppy was sitting, laying down, and doing "leave it" on command. And more importantly, he stopped having accidents in the house immediately. There was not ONE accident after that first weekend ever again and it's been 6 months now. I love all of my dogs, but the satisfaction and pride I feel having gone from concerned to confident in him in just a couple of days with Beth's help has made me and my puppy closer than I could have imagined was possible.
